Each flavor was totally unique. But combine one flavor with another, and something new was created.

we’re in that awful spot. that time of year when everything is dead and brown and the snows haven’t committed to winter yet. It’s work to find pictures.

It’s been snowing, now, two days but I haven’t gotten out into it. Soon it will be all fog, hoarfrost and white.

like i assure you, you can 100% feel awkward around kids and not know what to do because you haven’t been socialised in spaces where you learned how to properly care for and deal with children without saying “ew i hate them”. just say you’re not comfortable around them because you don’t know what to do, that’s a valid feeling that a lot of people share. don’t say you HATE them bc u don’t know how to handle yourself and therefore project your insecurities on them. like they aren’t the vessels for your feelings of inadequacy, they aren’t a blank canvas to project your issues on. they’re innocent.

feels like we haven’t done a pano set in a long long time. some panos from recent days.

it doesn’t always have to be fireworks. sometimes it’s nice to just miss the sunset and sit in that cooling quiet that comes after. The rivers of harvest dust winding through the coulees and valleys, the hum of combines and balers–all in orange, pink and blues. sometimes it’s okay to be a bit late but take more care to pay attention to what’s around.
